ORAL CARE WITHOUT MICROPLASTICS
Unfortunately, many conventional oral care products contain microplastics, as they are a cheap filler. At MINT, we view our body as a temple, which is why we have consciously chosen to exclude microplastics from our oral care products. We do not want to expose our bodies to harmful substances. While it is not entirely possible to avoid plastic packaging, microplastics remain a taboo for us! The reason: Unfortunately, our wastewater treatment plants are unable to filter out the tiny plastic beads, so they directly enter the environmental cycle and ultimately our bodies.
Climate protection affects us all—both consumers and businesses. We want to do our part to contribute to climate neutrality, which is why we have partnered with Climate Partner. Climate Partner helps us calculate our CO2 emissions so that we can reduce and offset them. In addition, together with Climate Partner, we support a special marine conservation project. People in Haiti, Indonesia, Brazil, and the Philippines can collect plastic waste in this project and exchange it at local collection points for money, food, drinking water, mobile phone credit, or school fees.
